Pastor Joe Grizzle grew up in Tucson, AZ, where he found his passion for music during high school at Flowing Wells HS. He loved playing rock and roll and spent many years pursuing that dream. But after facing some ups and downs in life, Joe felt God calling him to ministry in 2003, and everything changed from there.

He earned his Bachelor’s in Christian Ministry from Wayland Baptist University in 2011 and a Master’s in Theological Studies from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in 2013. 

Joe has been happily married to his junior high sweetheart, Linda, since 1989, and they have two wonderful kids—Joe III, who lives in San Angelo, and Mary, who’s in Abilene.

In January 2022, Joe became the pastor of North Park Baptist Church, following the faithful 31-year leadership of Pastor Louis Johnson. Pastor Joe is passionate about leading his church family, sharing the gospel, and walking alongside others through life’s trials with the love and grace of Christ.
